About Me – Plant Medicine Facilitation, Dieta & Integration Work
Hello Beautiful Soul,

I work with people who feel a call to live more truthfully, whether they are new to plant medicine or already walking that path with experience and respect.

For over 20 years, I worked in large international corporations across Europe. I understand structure, responsibility, leadership, and the pressures of high-performance environments from the inside. Over time, living in constant overdrive and disconnection from my own needs led to a deep burnout and depression.
That experience became a turning point.
I didn’t walk away from responsibility, I chose a different kind of responsibility: learning how to live in a way that is sustainable for my nervous system, my body, and my mental health. I radically changed my life and committed to practices and professional trainings that support long-term wellbeing, clarity, and integrity. This shift is the foundation of the work I offer today.

From Corporate Life to Conscious Living

My background in the corporate world allows me to meet people where they are, especially those navigating stress, transition, burnout, or a sense of misalignment in their lives. I know how deeply ingrained certain patterns can be, and how challenging it can feel to slow down and listen inwardly.
Today, my life is built around choices that support mind, body, and soul. This grounded way of living enables me to show up as a present human, coach, and facilitator, offering support that is realistic, embodied, and sustainable rather than idealistic or overwhelming.

Grounded Plant Medicine & Dieta Work
I am a sound practitioner, integration and life coach, yogi, foodie, and plant medicine facilitator, with extensive training across these fields. My work is structured, relational, and grounded, with a strong emphasis on preparation, safety, and integration.
A central focus of my work is plant medicine facilitation through dieta. For those who are new to this path: a dieta is not a ceremony or a quick experience, but a longer, intentional process of learning through relationship, with medicinal plants, with the body, and with oneself. It requires commitment, discipline, and care, and when approached respectfully, it can be deeply transformative.
I am currently based at Garden of Peace in Tarapoto, Peru, where I guide people through their dieta processes and plant medicine integration. I support participants before, during, and after their dieta, helping them navigate both the practical and psychological aspects of the work, as well as the integration back into everyday life.

This work is suitable for people who are stepping into plant medicine for the first time, as well as for those who already have experience and are looking for a more grounded, well-held, and respectful container.

Retreats & Ongoing Support

Alongside dieta work, I facilitate plant medicine retreats that bring together sound, embodiment practices, reflection, and integration coaching. These retreats are designed to support people in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and creating meaningful change they can carry back into their daily lives.
My upcoming retreat, Roots of Truth, will take place in April 2026.

Working Together
If you feel curious, cautious, called, or somewhere in between, you are warmly welcome to reach out. I offer discovery calls for those interested in coaching, joining me in a dieta, or participating in a retreat.
This is a space to ask honest questions, explore what kind of support you are looking for, and feel into whether this work is right for you.
Plant medicine is not about escape or shortcuts.
It is about learning how to listen, and how to live, with greater responsibility, presence, and respect.

With all my love,

Marije
